Welcome to our site. After two very successful home exchanges to Spain in 2005, and Perth Australia
in January 2008, we are ready to start planning for the next trip. So far this has been a wonderful experience, and
I would recommend it to anyone. If at all interested, feel free to check the links on the left to access more
pictures and information about our home and the beautiful area that we live in, the Kootenays.
We are always interested in finding a family from a tropical climate, who might enjoy the opportunity to come here
and ski at a world class ski area. We would also like to visit France and Italy at some time.
A home exchange doesn't always have to be to a far away point, and with this in mind, we are interested in
swapping for a shorter time with someone from Vancouver, BC. This would give us the opportunity to visit with our two
adult children who live in the Kitsilano area, but yet have our own space!
We would be open to any alternate proposals, and promise to respond to every enquiry we receive.

Our area is a virtual outdoorsman's paradise. Within easy access to our home, you can find mountain trails
for hiking, biking, beaches for swimming, rivers for kayaking or canoeing, excellent golf courses, tennis, camping, and larger
urban centers. Just a 25 minute drive through town is a world class ski resort called Red Mountain. Within 4 hours
drive you can be in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. For much more information and pictures, check out the links at the

About Us
We are a couple, Dave and Eileen, in our early 50's. Dave is a Lab Technician, and Eileen is a dental receptionist.
We have raised 3 children, and as we enter this new phase of our lives as "empty nesters", we would like to see and experience
other parts of the world. We are situated in southern British Columbia, the most western province in Canada. We
live in a small town in the mountains called Fruitvale. We have a hot dry climate in summer, and a mild winter.
